Legit
Your network, on your terms.
Legit is a personal networking assistant. You talk to it in a chat at app.getcedar.ai/legit; texting it from your phone is coming. Connect your Google account, see the people you know, and ask for the introductions you want. Legit checks with the other side first and only ever sends what both of you agreed to.
It connects to the accounts you pick, such as Gmail, Google Contacts and Google Calendar. When you connect an account it asks for everything it may use in one screen, and you can untick any of it: a feature that needs a permission you did not grant simply stays off. Nothing is read or sent without you asking. What Legit reads and how long it keeps it is described in the Legit Privacy Policy.

How it works
- You go first. Every conversation with Legit starts with a message from you, and nothing is read or sent without you asking. When texting arrives, Legit will never text a number that has not texted it first.
- See who you know. Connect Google and Legit shows you the people you know from your contacts, your calendar and who you have been emailing.
- Introductions with consent. When someone asks you for an introduction, Legit checks with the other person before anything is sent, then sends the email from your own address, or leaves it in your drafts for you to send.
